Counseling services for individuals, couples or marriage counseling, and classes and group work in close-in SE Portland.
Counseling therapy isn't one-size-fits-all, so I integrate several perspectives in my Portland counseling practice to better meet a full range of needs. Those perspectives include body-mind counseling therapy, the Existential-Humanist perspective, mindfulness, and other approaches for working with individuals and in couples counseling. As an integrated combination, these perspectives are a powerful way to work toward change and greater fulfillment.
During the pandemic I've been meeting with my clients on Zoom and other video apps. Video sessions have been working well and I'm happy to meet you there while we await a vaccine or other prevention options.
Finding a counselor who's right for you is essential for successful counseling. To make evaluating my Portland counselor services easier, I offer an initial consultation session to you at no cost. You can use the initial consult to get answers to your questions, learn more about my methods, talk about your concerns, and get a sense of my style so that you can judge whether my work is a good fit for your therapy needs. The no-cost initial consult has been my policy since 1999 and most of my therapy clients first meet me this way. You can schedule a no-cost initial consultation with my online scheduler, through email to me or by phone to 503-963-8600 at my Portland therapy office.
